Denis: I am 51 years old, live in California, and am an animation director by profession. I have 3 dogs; a lab/pit mix who looks like a Dingo; a Border collie mix named Frieda; and a Chihuahua names Elroy. I also have 4 miniature goats and 6 chickens. All of these “pets” are named after friends and family, meaning that they’ll never be eaten!
Some people are quiet, they don’t socialize much they just do their work and then go home. Others might like to be included in office the camaraderie, but feel they just don’t fit in. These very people who are ignored the year round and then asked to give a give a gift to a person that never speaks to them might take offense or at the very least feel very uncomfortable.
Food is always a welcome gift on Valentine’s Day especially if made by you. If you have a talent for cooking think about “crafting” a gift out of food or even a whole meal. The fourth item on my list is food and if contains sugar or chocolate you have a winner. This gift should only be made for someone close to you that trusts your cooking. You would feel terrible if you found out that the food gift was dumped due to the person receiving it did not trust your cooking.
The song chosen my Smithson may have been her downfall. Few people of this generation likely connect with “Jesus Christ Superstar.” It is one of those kinds of songs that is really an acquired taste unless, of course, you were a child of 60’s and 70’s.
If, for whatever reason, you are bound and determined to follow the crowd and get her candy, then at least put a little creativity into it. M&M’s now allows you to customize their candy putting personalized messages or pictures on these iconic treats. Special Valentine’s Day packages are available which can include a matching miniature goldendoodle for sale. For less than $25, this idea is sure to melt in her mouth. That’s the whole point of Valentine’s Day, isn’t it? And, no, the Mars Corporation will not let you do what you’re thinking.
OMy soul, like all souls, is ancient. She has been incarnated many, many, many, many times over. Personally, I have no interest in tracking down any of my past lives, as I have plenty to work with figuring out this one, the only one that matters, the only one I can maybe alter, one moment at a time, if and when I am able to transfer the theory to the practice.
A personalised wall hanging is also a lovely way of welcoming a little one to the world – some companies produce really beautiful, carved wooden made-to-order hangings in a cursive script (like handwriting) that can look really fabulous. Take a look at Urban Baby for some ideas.
Another unique gift idea for baby’s first Hanukkah is the Russ Berrie Hanukkah Plush Teddy Bear, complete with a blue yarmulke. This cute bear can sit with other stuffed toys until baby is old enough to enjoy him.
